ABOUT THE ROLE

The Conflicts Resolution Analyst assists the Firms Conflicts of Interest Attorneys in reviewing and resolving conflict of interest reports and related matters, in alignment with departmental objectives and priorities. Proactively communicates with attorneys and other stakeholders regarding conflicts issues; conducts in-depth research; and develops, documents, and presents recommendations for resolution. Ensures a high standard of client service and satisfaction across all areas of responsibility.

Conflict Review and Resolution

  • Review conflict reports, including lateral hires, by analyzing entity roles, waiver language, and matter status.

  • Research entity and affiliate relationships using commercial databases.

  • Collaborate with attorneys to confirm matter details and recommend conflict resolutions.

  • Advise attorneys on required resolution steps in accordance with Conflicts Counsel and OGC guidelines.

  • Document and communicate conflicts analyses and resolutions promptly.

  • Draft and review conflicts waiver language with Conflicts Counsel oversight.

  • Implement ethical walls per Firm policy.

  • Escalate complex or high-risk conflicts issues as appropriate.

Professional Development

  • Stay current on conflicts, new business trends, and legal industry developments.

  • Leverage relevant technology to improve efficiency, collaboration, and client service.

  • Contribute to projects that enhance value to the Firm.

  • Develop professional judgment and expertise in conflicts analysis and risk identification.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in issue spotting, research, and recommendation development; conflicts resolution experience strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with Intapp Open Conflicts, ServiceNow, Dun & Bradstreet, LexisNexis, and/or iManage/SPM preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels in time-sensitive situations.

  • Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Interest in conflicts of interest issues, laws, and procedures, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.

New York, San Francisco salary range: $70k to $99k
