Overview
The Product Marketing Manager will manage all aspects of product marketing. The position will be responsible for all product decisions, marketing strategy, product introduction and aspects of product line management.
Responsibilities
- Champion products through the ITT Stage Gate Development ProcessWork actively with Sales to develop opportunities for their product linesDevelop periodic tactical plans for all product marketing activitiesBe familiar with and analyze competitors in our market segmentsManage product life cycles including sustaining and obsolescence activitiesWork with Sales team to develop product pricing and discounting policiesDevelop and publish various reports on product sales historyForecast sales of new and existing productsWork with Controller and Operations on product profitability and product line financialsBusiness Development:
- Market scanningCustomer analysisConcept developmentBusiness planning
- Internet and print content managementTrade Show coordination and content management3D animation coordinationElectronic marketing and lead generation
Qualifications
Requirements:
- BS Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent required10 years’ experience in sales and marketing10 years’ experience with Intellectual Property/ Patent Management for new technology10 years’ experience with contract terms & conditions negotiation; specifically, the capability to adapt pricing and business models required to introduce or reposition products in various markets.Above average communication skills for both internal and external sales application contactsAbove average skills in Microsoft Office applicationsDemonstrated success in Business Development and MarketingHigh initiative, goal orientation, execution
- MBA Degree10 years’ experience in product management and product marketing in the Oil and Gas Exploration industryExperience with harsh environment materials and equipmentKnowledge of oil and gas market and technology
