Senior Analyst, AccountingTriumph Group
Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join the Valencia, CA team. This role will carry out a full range of professional accounting duties. Works independently with minimal guidance on more complex issues. Uses advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills to adapt policies and programs and develop models to support smaller projects. Focus on providing analyses and applying results to improve business operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
• Prepare and analyze cost estimates for manufacturing operations, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Monitor and compare standard costs versus actual costs, identifying variances and trends.
• Assist as needed with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable.
• Perform traditional general accounting functions such as journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Track fixed assets, maintain depreciation calculation software, and coordinate capital expenditure requests.
• Support cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Prepare monthly use tax return and provide tax exemption certificates to vendors as required.
• Monitor labor charging errors and adjust as needed, researching the cause to help prevent future errors.
• Monitor time and attendance errors, PTO forms and prepare reports for payroll.
• Participate in month-end closing process.
• Produce reliable and accurate reports to support operations and communicate internal financial metrics.

Knowledge of Syteline ERP system required.
Hands-on experience with financial documents, i.e. P&L and Balance sheets Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point. Advanced Excel skills a plus!

Maintain a proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven approach to problem solving.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Must be a problem solver and strong team player with ability to interact with all levels of staff within the organization.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting or Finance, or a related field MBA a plus.
Minimum of 6 – 8 years of experience in FP&A or Manufacturing finance roles.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point. Advanced Excel skills a plus!
Salary: $76,600 - $114,000 plus bonus
