Job Overview

  • Direct all production-related activities and flow within the factory, including direct management of the Operations, Supply Chain, Production Control, and Quality functions
  • Ensure work areas comply with health, safety, and environmental standards
    Adhere to all internal and external quality standards, including AS9100
  • Evaluate, manage, and motivate all direct reports through a strong emphasis on planning, organization, preparation, follow-up, and internal communication
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through the application of Lean philosophies, systems, and tools
  • Communicate clearly and directly with employees concerning performance expectations, productivity, and accountability
  • Support backlog health as a secondary responsibility by partnering with sales and
  • leadership to provide operational input to quotes and proposals, engaging with customers during site visits, and identifying opportunities to improve win probability, capacity alignment, and long-term customer retention—without direct quota or closing responsibility

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with increasing responsibility, including at least 5 years of direct people management
  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Excellent understanding of ERP systems (JobBoss/ECI preferred), master scheduling, and financial management
  • Demonstrated results-oriented leadership style focused on execution and continuous improvement using data
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on innovative and creative solutions that result in early delivery and lower cost
  • Demonstrated experience applying Lean philosophy, concepts, and tools
  • Quality management systems experience (e.g., AS9100)
  • Knowledge in quoting and execution of precision machining is considered a strong plus
  • Knowledge and experience executing government manufacturing contracts
  • Experience collaborating with sales and operations leadership to support backlog stability through accurate quoting, capacity awareness, and strong customer execution

How You Will Be Rewarded

The salary range for this role is $125,000 – $150,000 annually We offer a comprehensive total rewards approach to compensation, providing incentives and benefits that extend far beyond the base salary.
