We are seeking a Director of Security Architecture & Assurance for our Broomfield, CO location. This individual will oversee the design, implementation, and validation of security controls across enterprise systems, applications, and cloud environments. The role requires a visionary leader who can balance business objectives with robust security practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and resilience against evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities: The Director will lead team members and manage processes and technologies situated across North America, Europe, and Asia.
$240,000 - $300,000 a year

The role requires a visionary leader who can balance business objectives with robust security practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and resilience against evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities: The Director will lead team members and manage processes and technologies situated across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and maintain the enterprise security architecture roadmap aligned with organizational goals and regulatory frameworks.
- Lead the development of secure design principles for infrastructure, applications, and cloud adoption.
- Establish assurance frameworks to validate security controls and compliance.
Governance & Risk Management:
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Partner with risk and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements and frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS CSC18, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments, providing executive-level reporting on security posture.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee security architecture reviews for new initiatives and third-party integrations.
- Lead assurance activities including audits, penetration testing, and continuous monitoring of the attack surface.
- Drive automation and innovation in assurance processes to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-delivery.
Collaboration & Influence:
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives and stakeholders on security risks and investments.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and product teams to embed security into digital transformation projects.
- Represent the organization in industry forums and regulatory discussions.
Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead a team of security architects, application security analysts, and assurance professionals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
You Must have:
- High School Diploma/GED minimum
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in security architecture, application security/development or network architecture.
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status.
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
We Value:

- Prior law enforcement and security operations experience is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills to allow for communication on security topics to a broad set of stakeholders and external partners.
