We are seeking a Lead Supplier Quality Engineer in our Broomfield, CO, Location.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role will operate with enterprise-level authority and direct accountability for supplier quality risk across advanced quantum hardware programs, operating effectively in an environment with limited precedent, incomplete data, and evolving organizational structures.
- Serve as the final decision authority for supplier quality risk acceptance and mitigation, nonconformance and deviation disposition, corrective action approval and closure, and supplier qualification or disqualification based on quality performance. Escalate unresolved risks to senior leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations and business impact assessments.
- Establish, govern through ownership, and lead the development of a Supplier Quality Engineering function across Quantinuum's production and R&D programs, architecting and scaling the foundational systems, governance, processes, metrics, and maturity roadmap that will serve as the long-term institutional model from early R&D through production and sustainment. Lead end-to-end supplier qualification, audit, and performance management strategies for advanced high-reliability hardware, including critical audits, investigations, corrective actions, and KPIs and reporting. Drive continuous improvement in supplier capability, process maturity, and consistent performance.
- Operate independently in high-ambiguity environments, making decisions with material impact to product integrity, delivery, cost, and enterprise risk. Serve as a recognized internal authority and advisor on supplier quality risk.
- Partner cross-functionally to embed supplier quality early in product and supplier lifecycle decisions, balancing quality, delivery, cost, and technical risk.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's Degree minimum
- 10+ years relevant experience, preferably in a technological environment
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder, or workers granted asylum or refugee status.
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or a Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
