About the Role

If you’re energized by helping families build stability, resilience, and independence—and you’re excited by the idea of providing therapy in nontraditional, community-based settings—this role is a great fit.

As a Clinician in our IICAPS (Intensive In-Home Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Services) program, you’ll work with children at risk of psychiatric hospitalization and their families. You’ll provide therapy and support directly in the home, school, and community, building meaningful relationships and helping families strengthen their functioning in real time.

This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates or early-career clinicians. We provide robust training, a team-based model, and ongoing supervision to help you grow into a confident, skilled practitioner.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, family, and crisis intervention services
  • Support parents with skills training and advocacy
  • Collaborate with schools, medical providers, and community partners
  • Participate in weekly team clinical rounds, group and individual supervision
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with agency, HIPAA, and funding requirements
  • Contribute to program development and agency-wide initiatives

Experience and Skills

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related counseling field
  • LMSW, LPCA, LMFTA, or equivalent preferred (license-eligible graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Experience working with children and families (preferred)
  • Comfort working with diverse, urban communities
  • Strong clinical writing and communication skills
  • Commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practice

Schedule & Additional Details

  • Monday–Friday with some flexibility to meet family needs; a minimum of two evenings per week
  • Some on-call responsibilities with additional stipend
  • In-person role with hybrid office/home administrative time
