Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Administration Intern to join our West Hartford, CT team. The Contracts Administration Intern will support a range of administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced regulatory environment. The internship will provide a college-level student with practical experience related to their major that will enhance and complement classroom learning.

Responsibilites Include:

  • Maintaining the product matrix to ensure it is up to date with customer contacts and program information
  • Work with internal and external customers to close aging orders
  • Develop work instructions for contract processes
  • Support reduction of backlog for MRO programs
  • Identify and own additional opportunities for improvement

 

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Administration, International Business, or similar field; with a GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Good interpersonal skills including leadership, diplomacy, and negotiation are desired. This position involves interaction with customers and senior leadership
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow and/or develop standard work
  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and ability to deal with all levels in the organization
  • Fluent in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Innovative approach for driving process efficiencies
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident
