We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Practice Assistant in our Washington, DC office. Please apply if you have experience in Corporate/Finance, Tax or FDA and are looking for a rewarding career in a business-casual team environment with a well-established firm!

In this position, you will seek to

  • Achieve a high level of administrative support for several attorneys across various practice groups.
  • Maximize attorney time by managing schedules, calendaring, tracking deadlines, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing and submitting expense reports.
  • Ensure accuracy in the formatting, drafting, proofing, and editing of time-sensitive and confidential documentation.
  • Provide expert support using Firm software and other programs including, but not limited to, document management (NetDocs), various electronic court filing systems, marketing (CRM), time keeping (InTapp), expense reporting (Concur), travel coordination (NAVAN), client/matter files (iCompli) and more.
  • Collaborate with other practice assistants in your support team to understand client concerns, ensure that clients are satisfied, and to build relationships of trust and reliability.
  • Grow your skills as a legal support professional by managing projects and deadlines, collaborating with team members, and using your organization and time management skills to satisfy client needs and lead the Firm to success!

Successful candidates will have

  • The drive and determination to learn new skills and perfect current skillset in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • The ability to own individual tasks as well as collaborate well in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong time management skills to produce quality work product while keeping yourself and team members on task to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional conduct with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, though a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

Pay: $70,000 - 90,000 annually

*Pay ranges are provided in compliance with S32-1453.01 Washington, DC's pay transparency law; actual pay may vary based on a variety of factors, including education, applicable experience, etc.
