Training Manager: Eglin AFBAmentum
Summary:
Monitor and identify training needs, design and develop training plans, and deploy effective training programs to improve employees’ skills, productivity, and quality of work. Assess training program effectiveness and stay updated on training trends to ensure the organization’s training initiatives are aligned with business goals and employee development needs.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee the site training program(s)
- Identify and assess future and current training needs
- Develop overall or individualized training plans
- Ensure that training milestones and goals are met
•Collaborate with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs
- Conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions
- Identify problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve
- Maintain knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry
- Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis and consultation with managers
- Conduct orientation programs and arrange on-the-job training for new hires
- Track and update training in automated training databases
- Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience :
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills
- Thorough understanding of training processes
- Thorough understanding of Aircraft maintenance training requirements
- General understanding of federal government training requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to moderate large groups.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to plan, manage time and multitask effectively
- Familiarity with modern and traditional training methods
- Familiarity with Air Force training databases (IMDS and MyLeraning)
- Advanced record-keeping skills
- At least four years of experience in training required with two years of supervisory experience desired
Compensation Details:
85,000.00
