Bus Driver (Part Time)Amentum

Amentum, a global leader in critical mission support, engineering, technology, and national security solutions, is seeking a Bus Driver (Part Time) to support a government contract based in Kings Bay, Georgia.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Under direct supervision, drives buses up to 44-passenger capacity with air brakes as required to transport personnel throughout the base and on public roads and highways. 

• Ensures that passengers are seated and that the vehicle is not loaded beyond capacity. 

• Completes trip tickets and preventive maintenance service records. 

• Performs drivers' maintenance in accordance with established rules and regulations to include vehicle cleanliness. 

• May perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Two years driving experience in a professional capacity with a safe driving record. 

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement for size and type vehicle required.

• No restriction for air brakes on CDL

• Must have and wear at all times, substantial leather shoes

• Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements for access to all areas of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
