The Defense (Maritime) of LEIDOS has an opening for a self-motivated team player that has demonstrated experience as tactical ground system operator and instructor to join our talented team. This role demands an exceptional command of technical, tactical, and instructional techniques to garner the immediate trust of the warfighter.
**This position requires an active TS clearance to apply**
Successful candidate will:
- Provide direct support to the Advanced Sensors Technologies (AST) Program Office for the requirements definition, contract awards, system development & testing oversight, Fleet introduction and Fleet liaison with the Maritime Patrol & Reconnaissance Force (MPRF) of the US Navy.
- Review and provide subject matter expertise to the Government customer, Prime Contractor, and Fleet operators on highly complex sensor ground tactical support systems.
- Have familiarity with classified marking and handling requirements as set forth in DoD and DoN policy.
- Ensure 100% accountability of classified materials and engineering documents.
- Collect and disseminate assigned action items across a multi-organization working group tasked with the Fleet introduction of tactical ground support systems.

Basics Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience, with 15+ years of prior relevant experience as a MPRF TacMobile Watch Officer supporting the MPRF aircraft (P3-C and/or P8A) and Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) or master’s degree with 13+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks, and complete assigned projects with minimal supervision
- Strong technical, verbal, and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications and experience:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate as part of a team across multiple varied organizations from the government and defense industry.
- Experience as a MPRF Weapons School TacMobile Instructor.
- Experience as Tactical Squadron (TOCRON) or MPRF Weapons School TacMobile Advanced Airborne Sensor (TMAAS) Instructor.
- Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Community operations experience.
- Experience supporting Special Access programs.
- Experience supporting an ACAT I-D program.
- Experience operating in a multi-level protection environment.
