Qualifications
RS&H is currently seeking a Water Resources Engineer I to join our team in the Moving I-4 Forward Program Office in Celebration, FL. This is an embedded position reporting to the office 5 days per week. As part of the infrastructure team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by preparing project specifications; preparing complete project documents, analysis, and reports; analyzing and interpreting data; performing analyses of design, planning, and impact studies, as well as cost analyses, design requirements, site selection, and limited design layouts; designing complete projects, systems, components, and/or processes; and performs quality control reviews and field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects. This position may also provide technical guidance and assign tasks to junior and support staff for project duration and/or manage discipline and small multidisciplinary teams. To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have a degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Have your PE and be in good standing.
- Be knowledgeable of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
- Be proficient in production software and construction document production.
- Have a passion for formulating and solving problems with timely and innovative solutions.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
