Qualifications



We are currently seeking a Summer 2026 Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Buildings Engineering team in Jacksonville or Orlando, FL.

 

The Electrical Engineering Intern will collaborate and be mentored by top Engineering associates on our team.  The selected candidate will work on a variety of projects that combine innovative design concepts with a strong knowledge of technical standards to exceed client expectations and provide cost-effective solutions.  This is an amazing opportunity to gain hands on experience and a better understanding of the Buildings Engineering Industry.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine calculations requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
  • Prepare and revise plan documents details
  • Collect and prepare data for evaluation
  • Perform engineering with the use of computer-assisted engineering software and equipment
  • Provide support to engineering and project management associates

 

Qualifications:            

  • Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at an ABET-accredited university
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2.5 GPA or above
  • Prior internship or related experience
  • AutoCAD and/or Revit experience
  • Experience or exposure to building plans preparation and design standards
  • Specific interest in Building Design
