Adena Corporation is a leader in construction and fabrication, building large-scale projects in steel, concrete, industrial, and theme/ride industries. We’re looking for a skilled CNC Operator/Waterjet Operator to join our steel fabrication team and help produce high-precision parts with cutting-edge equipment. The CNC Operator/Waterjet Operator will support Adena’s fabrication operations by operating CNC machines; including waterjets, plasma tables, beamlines, and pipe dragons to cut and shape materials with accuracy and efficiency.

Position Description:Position Description
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and CAD files.
- Prepare and operate CNC waterjet to cut stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, UHMW, and other materials.
- Load, secure, and monitor materials during cutting processes; adjust machine settings as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure specifications are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Assist with unloading materials, moving cut parts, and tracking inventory.
- Operate additional equipment including beamline, pipe dragon, and plasma table.
- Communicate with production control, quality assurance, and management to resolve machining or quality issues.
Position Requirements: Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical/trade school a plus).
- 1+ year of CNC machine operation (waterjet experience preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with CNC software (FlowMaster, OMAX, etc.).
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of shop safety procedures.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- OSHA 10 Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
- Certification/training required before operating equipment.
