Adena Structural is seeking an experienced Project Manager (1-Year Contract) to support our growing Structural Steel and Specialty Fabrication division, with a focus on architectural metals, custom fabrication, and theme park projects.

This role is ideal for a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can successfully lead projects from kickoff through fabrication, installation, and closeout.

Our work spans theme park structures, custom feature elements, and specialty steel fabrication, where no two projects are the same and attention to detail is critical.

Position Description:
Position Description
  1. Lead projects from internal handoff through fabrication, delivery, installation, and final closeout
  2. Review and interpret contracts, drawings, specifications, submittals, and project schedules
  3. Serve as the primary point of coordination with owners, general contractors, designers, engineers, and internal teams
  4. Manage RFIs, submittals, approvals, revisions, and material procurement
  5. Partner closely with detailing, shop production, and field teams to maintain schedule and workflow
  6. Identify risks early and implement proactive solutions to protect cost, schedule, and quality
  7. Track and manage project performance, including labor, materials, scope changes, and costs
  8. Support change order management, billing milestones, and project documentation
  9. Maintain clear, consistent communication across all stakeholders
  10. Conduct site visits as needed to support installation and field coordination


Position Requirements:

  1. Project management experience in steel fabrication, miscellaneous metals, or architectural metals - Required
  2. Experience with theme park, entertainment, or complex custom commercial projects strongly preferred
  3. Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, architectural drawings, and construction documents
  4. Hands-on experience managing work scopes that include:
  5. Custom stair systems
  6. Railings and ornamental metals
  7. Structural steel and support systems
  8. Specialty and feature fabrication elements
  9. Strong understanding of fabrication shop workflows, sequencing, and installation coordination
  10. Experience delivering projects with tight tolerances, high-end finishes, and demanding schedules
