Job Summary

Position Summary

The Help Desk Technician will serve as the first point of contact for internal technical support. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality technical support with professionalism and urgency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to onsite users

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets (Active Directory preferred)

  • Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)

  • Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures within ticketing systems

  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel as needed

  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding IT setup

  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and assets

  • Ensure timely resolution of support tickets while maintaining strong communication with end users


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Help Desk or IT Support experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems

  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments

  • Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking concepts

  • Experience with ticketing systems

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment

Preferred:

  • Associate degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications

This is a fully onsite position in Pinellas County, FL/Greater Tampa Bay area Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this role.
