Overview
CONSOR is currently looking for a Traffic EIT for one of our many Florida offices. This position will contribute to delivering a wide variety of transportation/traffic design, operations, and analysis projects, including Traffic Impact Studies, Signal Warrant Analysis, Safety Studies, Review Permit Applications, Develop Traffic Design Plans under supervision by senior staff, Participate in project field reviews.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the development of operations analysis for transportation projects.
- Supporting the development of traffic and ITS design packages for transportation projects.
- Following our quality control process to ensure high caliber work products.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered as a Licensed Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) is preferred.
- 0-3 years of professional transportation engineering experience.
- Knowledgeable of Manual in Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), Florida Department of Transportation Manual of Uniform Traffic Studies (MUTS), Florida Department of Transportation Standard Designs, Florida Department of Transportation Traffic Engineering Manual (TEM) is a plus
- Knowledgeable in computer aided drafting and design systems. Specify any experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication skills: both oral and written for team collaboration and interpersonal relationships developed with employees and clients.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills.
- Time management and the ability to multitask and prioritize competing project obligations.
- Ability to work with others and capacity to learn new skills.
