As the Billing and Cash Management Senior Manager, your primary responsibility will be leading high‑volume, multi‑region billing operations. You will also take on cash‑management responsibilities over time. Prior cash‑management experience is not required, as training and onboarding will be provided for this portion of the role.


Key responsibilities


Team leadership

  • Lead and develop a team of 4–5 billing and cash‑application professionals.
  • Set direction, coach performance, and promote accountability and continuous improvement.


Billing operations (primary focus)

  • Own end‑to‑end billing cycles across multiple regions and customer segments.
  • Ensure invoices align with contractual terms, pricing structures, and duties and taxes requirements.
  • Drive billing accuracy, timeliness, documentation standards, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with Commercial and Finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies and escalations.


Cash management and application (trainable)

  • Oversee cash‑application activities and daily cash posting with support from Finance and Treasury.
  • Receive training on cash‑position monitoring, reconciliations, and forecasting.
  • Gradually assume ownership of cash‑flow KPIs, including application timeliness and reconciliation accuracy.


ERP and continuous improvement

  • Act as a process owner for billing workflows within the ERP environment (SAP preferred).
  • Partner with IT and Finance on automation, reporting, and process improvements.
  • Support standardization, controls enhancement, and scalable process design.


Compliance and controls

  • Maintain adherence to policies, internal controls, and documentation standards.
  • Ensure audit‑ready practices across billing and Order‑to‑Cash activities.


Cross‑functional partnership

  • Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Commercial, and IT stakeholders to align KPIs, data quality, and improvement initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in billing operations, preferably in a high‑volume, multi‑region environment.
  • At least 5 years of people leadership experience.
  • Strong ERP experience; SAP is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical and communication abilities.
  • Experience with complex billing structures, contracts, and duties and taxes.
  • Exposure to cash management or forecasting is a plus but not required; training will be provided.


Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary range: 105,375 USD – 140,500 USD
  • Annual bonus: 15 percent
