General Summary:

The Fleet Card Customer Account and Sales Coordinator performs various responsibilities involved around account management and sales support of Fuelz Fleet Card.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage existing customer base to ensure accurate and timely resolution of service issues
  • Answer inbound customer calls regarding Fuelz Fleet Card
  • Promote good customer service in each customer contact to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Act as a liaison between customer, outside sales force and vendor
  • Provide sales team with rankings, volume decrease lists, and commission reports
  • Administer Fleet Card vendor system and technology
  • Communicate with internal customers in a clear manner regarding new account setup completion, via email and phone
  • Review and correct errors on accounts setups as identified
  • Coordinate with internal customers regarding missing or incomplete information prohibiting an account setup from being completed
  • Initiate first contact with customer following the setup of a new account (First Touch program) to review account details to ensure ordering, delivery, billing, and payment accuracy
  • Process new credit accounts, approvals, and credit line extensions for Fuelz Fleet Card customers
  • Pull credit agency reports for new and existing Fuelz Fleet Card accounts
  • Manage the aging of current Fuelz Fleet Card portfolios
  • Maintain the logging and tracking of Fuelz Fleet Card credit accounts
  • Communicate with Sales department in regards to credit of Fuelz Fleet Card accounts
  • Responsible for the completion of any special projects or the assignment of other duties as requested by management

Position Requirements:

  • High school graduate required. College courses preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of sales administration and/or customer service experience
  • Marketing or relationship management experience a plus
  • Strong business management and financial skills
  • Ability to make independent credit decisions with limited supervision
  • Experience with establishing new customer setup and required paperwork and processes
  • Proven customer service skills and the ability to resolve problems and prevent customer dissatisfaction while ensuring quality standards are met
  • Proven data entry skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Ability to think critically and bring fresh perspective and ideas to the team

  • Ability to troubleshoot and coordinate multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Commitment to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers with a good sense of urgency

  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Previous sophisticated ERP system experience a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and listening skills
  • Proven experience identifying problems of varying complexities and finding effective solutions with few guidelines
  • Sense of commitment with strong follow up skills

Working Conditions:

The work of this position is performed in a controlled office environment. This position requires the ability to work under pressure and communicate with a diverse population including other employees, customers, vendors, etc. This position also requires prolonged periods of sitting in a regular seated position as well as the use of general office equipment including phones, printers, computers, (mouse, keyboard, etc.)
