Non-exempt Hourly Rate: $34.72

Purpose of Position:

Identify and resolve data inconsistencies/discrepancies. Facilitates advisory/steering committee of data users to identify modifications needed to improve functionality of data systems.

Minimum Requirements:

Knowledge:

  • Principles, practices, methods, and techniques related to program planning, developing, monitoring, and evaluating; use of relational databases for program implementation, monitoring, and evaluating; knowledge of procedures used for maintaining confidentiality; knowledge of procedures used for ensuring security and confidentiality of electronic data.

Skills/abilities:

  • Proficiency with large, complex relational databases; develop, design, and manage multiple databases; understand and complete complex oral and written instructions; write in a clear and organized manner; think critically; problem solve; plan, coordinate, and work on projects with others; implement quality control and assurance procedures for data management; interact with others in a professional manner.

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree.

Experience:

  • Two- and one-half years progressively responsible professional work experience which required a high degree of analytical skill. Such experience must have involved the use of large, complex relational databases for the gathering, evaluating, and analyzing facts and other pertinent information required to resolve problems and/or to determine and recommend appropriate courses of action. Such experience must have also provided knowledge of security and confidentiality policies and procedures
