Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking an IT System Administrator with a proven track record int he maintenance, configuration, and design of enterprise network systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical and analytical skills in enterprise-class server environments, with a focus on supporting core banking platforms and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-class Windows and Linux operating systems and the servers that support them.
- Maintain system resiliency and integrity, including the deployment of redundant systems and monitoring servers for performance.
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues effectively.
- Implement and support automation tools and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with vendors, including those providing database and system administration services.
- Analyze and interpret system documentation and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful system upgrades.
- Drive effective cross-functional collaboration by actively partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve shared business objectives.
- Coordinate vendor services to ensure quality and adherence to project schedules.
- Ensure platform security goals are met, including patching, password management, system hardening, and maintenance notifications.
- Work in a secure environment, adhering strictly to data security and change management practices.
- Maintain accurate and thorough process documentation.
- Stay current with technology trends and proactively seek solutions that support organizational goals for continuous improvement.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and be available for evening and weekend hours as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree with comparable experience will be considered.
- Microsoft or Cisco certifications are desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle all aspects of IT hardware/software configuration.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell or similar platforms) is a plus.
- Advanced server administration skills are preferred.
