Responsibilities
The SUE Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Serving as the primary liaison between SAM and our clients, the SUE Project Manager oversees both field and office teams while contributing to business development and staff growth. Key ResponsibilitiesLead SUE projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and schedulePrepare and manage project proposals, contracts, budgets, schedules, and billingsSign and seal plats, field notes, and control drawings as requiredPlan staffing needs, allocate resources, and oversee multiple concurrent projectsDevelop and maintain strong client relationships; pursue new business opportunitiesDeliver project updates, technical reports, and presentations to clients and stakeholdersCoordinate with sub-consultants, partners, and internal teams for seamless executionMonitor and report financial performance, including AR, WIP, and billing cyclesRepresent SAM at client meetings, industry events, and trade showsSupport other operational teams and contribute to company-wide goals

Qualifications
- Previous industry related work experience in a professional or management capacity Knowledge of SUE practices and applicable standards (ASCE 38-22 preferred)Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationshipsProficiency with CAD, GIS, and utility data management platformsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
