Responsibilities

Your Impact at SAM  

    Assist with fieldwork using 3D laser scanners, LiDAR, drones, and related equipment 
    Help set up equipment, targets, and control points at job sites 
    Capture accurate scan data according to project requirements 
    Transfer, organize, and manage large data files 
    Registration of point cloud data  
    2D and 3D Drafting from LiDAR point clouds 
    Assist with basic drafting/modeling tasks in CAD or BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.),  
    Perform quality checks on data for accuracy and completeness 
    Maintain equipment and ensure proper handling and storage  


Qualifications



What you bring to SAM 

    Currently enrolled in a program related to building information modeling, construction management, construction engineering, mechanical engineering, or architecture 
    GPA of 2.5 or higher 
    Strong interest in 3D technology  
    Familiarity with CAD, BIM, GIS or point cloud  
    Positive attitude and willingness to learn!
