Scheduling appointments;

Pre-certifications/authorizations;

Telephone calls;

Interaction with ancillary services;

Routine clerical functions;

Documentation in electronic medical records;

Cleaning, monitoring, and stocking exam rooms;

Rooming patients,

Obtaining vitals and histories,

Assisting Physician/Provider with examinations and in-office duties;

As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings.

Experience

Must be Registered or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant; Previous medical office experience preferred, specialty of Cardiology a plus; Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); Ability to multi-task in very fast environment; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high focus on quality patient care.
