 Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your technical skills and be part of a team that values precision, safety, and quality? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Machine Operator (Saw Operator) to support our manufacturing operations.


In this role, you will safely and accurately operate industrial saw equipment to cut raw materials to specified dimensions in support of production schedules. Responsibilities include reading work orders, measuring and inspecting materials, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and performing basic equipment checks. The Saw Operator works closely with production and quality teams to ensure material accuracy, minimize scrap, and meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Job Responsibilities

  • Operate large industrial saws to cut raw material to a specified dimension to support production
  • Follow documented processes
  • Maintain a high degree of quality
  • Function as a team member and support other teams
  • Maintain accurate paperwork
  • Housekeeping/maintenance of work area and machinery
     
Requirements:

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning industrial machinery
  • Ability to read a tape measure is required
  • Willingness to learn machine safety procedures and proper PPE use
  • Ability to use simple measuring tools (tape measure, ruler) or willingness to learn
  • Good attention to detail with a focus on producing accurate cuts
  • Ability to work safely around large materials and moving equipment
  • Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and reading dimensions
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Exposure to hand tools or basic shop tools
  • Familiarity with reading simple work orders or production sheet
  • Interest in learning CNC controls and automated equipment
  • Ability to lift materials and assist with loading/unloading using forklift or overhead crane
  • Operate machines using best and safe practices
  • Must produce parts within required tolerances
  • Follow documented processes
  • Maintain a high degree of quality
  • Function as a team member and support other teams
  • Housekeeping/maintenance of work area and machinery
