| Job Summary | The Kentucky Energy Planning and Inventory Commission (EPIC) is an independent state commission established by KRS 164.2807 to provide analysis of Kentucky’s energy adequacy and reliability. EPIC operates independently in its policy analysis, decision-making, and recommendations to the Kentucky General Assembly. The commission is administratively attached to the University of Kentucky’s Center for Applied Energy Research (CAER) for operational support functions including payroll, human resources, information technology, and facilities management. The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative, financial, and operational support to the Executive Director of EPIC and commission operations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for the commission, manages financial processing and budget monitoring, coordinates board meetings and stakeholder engagement, and ensures efficient operation of commission activities. The position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong financial acumen, discretion in handling confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. |
