| Job Summary | The Executive Director of Strategic Communications is responsible for aligning and elevating the university’s proactive content strategy across the enterprise while also ensuring the execution of a robust plan for issues management and crisis communications. To that end, this role has administrative oversight for – and leadership of – the following areas: • Content Strategy and Development for key communications areas as well as coordination with marketing as appropriate • Campus College Communication Planning and Execution • Social Media Strategy, Planning and Implementation • Crisis Communications and Issues Management Initially, this position will have administrative oversight over three to five people in the areas of issues and crisis management and social media. With integration efforts planned for implementation on July 1, an additional, approximately 10 people (direct lines) will come into this vertical, with a proposed director for academic college communications (Campus College Director) reporting directly to the ED for Strategic Communications. The Campus College Director will be the administrative team lead for the approximately nine main campus colleges. IEBC |
