JOB SUMMARY:

Processes payments and records transactions for Central Insurance Services.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School diploma or GED
• One year financial or insurance industry experience
• Office, clerical or administrative experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Excellent data entry (numeric) skills (20 ipm) and good typing skills (25 wpm)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Dependability, speed, accuracy and attention to detail
• Proven ability in analyzing and balancing numbers
• Proficient with Word and Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and utilize strong organizational skills

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Process all customer deposits, direct bill commissions, and customer direct bill sweep payments.
2. Transact agency bill policies. Follow up on customer payments on agency billed items to get invoice for remittance to the broker or insurance agency. Pay agency bill items once customer payment and invoice are received.
3. Research and clear company payable reconciliations.
4. Perform reconciliations as needed.
5. Complete month end and year end closing procedures.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
