Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Professional (CCP), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Coder – Apprentice (CPC-A) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or other related American Health Information Association (AHIMA) or American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) certification

Physical Requirements
This position may require sitting, standing, and/or walking for extended periods of time; occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs may be required.
Shift
Monday-Friday standard business; some opportunity for flex scheduling. This is a remote position.
Job Summary
UK HealthCare is currently seeking a Coding Team Leader. This position will provide support for the Coding Supervisor with day-to-day operations. Responsibilities will include: review and abstract medical record documentation for inpatient, outpatient, procedures and technical services; review and correct pre-claim coding edits; assist in the development of coding education programs for in-service meetings; provide coding coverage as needed
