| Job Summary | The Messaoudi Lab seeks a responsible and motivated Laboratory Technician to support ongoing research. The candidate will primarily focus on establishing and maintaining organoid lines using sterile technique and tissue culture methodologies. Other responsibilities include processing clinical samples and animal tissues for culture and storage, performing routine molecular biology and immunological assays, maintaining accurate laboratory records, and ensuring accurate laboratory supplies inventory through ordering and weekly checks. The position requires proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, or R studio is desirable. Additional duties include lab organization, supply inventory management, equipment maintenance, and compliance with biosafety protocols. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. |
