| Job Summary | Computer Science is currently seeking an Engineering Associate I for the Educe lab research team. Responsibilities of this position will include materials characterization, design and fabrication of mechanical systems, laboratory maintenance and support, technical documentation, and scientific community outreach and recruitment. This position will require familiarity with materials characterization systems (e.g. XRF, EDS, Raman spectroscopy); proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and fabrication; experience in microcontroller platforms and electromechanical engineering; technical writing skills; organization and attention to detail; and excellent communication skills including public speaking.
