The mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and machinery, including tasks like engine overhauls, brake repairs, and routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations.

Responsibilities:

1. Diagnosis and Repair:
2. Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems using diagnostic tools and procedures.
3. Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components.
4. Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid level checks.

1. Maintenance
2. Perform scheduled maintenance services according to manufacturer recommendations.
3. Inspect and maintain vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

1. Customer Interaction:
2. Explain technical issues and repair recommendations to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
3. Provide estimates for repairs and ensure customer satisfaction.

1. Record Keeping:
2. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.

1. Safety:
2. Follow all safety procedures and regulations when working with vehicles and tools.
3. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Technical Skills:
2. Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and suspension.
3. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

1. Other Skills:
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Problem-solving and analytical skills.
4. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.

Education and Experience:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Formal training or apprenticeship in automotive technology.
3. Relevant experience as a mechanic.
