Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify, source, and recruit qualified MD/DO physicians for locum tenens assignments nationwide
• Initiate outbound contact via phone, text, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and other strategic recruiting channels
• Build and maintain long-term physician relationships through exceptional rapport, trust, and service
• Educate physicians on the personal, professional, and financial benefits of a locum tenens career
• Screen, qualify, and prepare physicians for submission and credentialing readiness
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned physicians throughout the recruitment lifecycle
• Partner closely with sales and account management teams to efficiently fill client assignments
• Generate and manage leads through strategic planning, referrals, and outbound efforts
• Own your desk, pipeline, KPIs, and production metrics end-to-end
• Operate with urgency in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism


Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2+ years of locum tenens physician recruiting experience strongly preferred
• Proven success recruiting and placing MD/DO physicians
• Staffing agency experience required
• Comfortable with high outbound call volume and proactive physician engagement
• Strong closing skills with a competitive, commission-driven mindset
• Experience using ATS/CRM systems (Bullhorn preferred)
• Client-centered mentality with a passion for delivering exceptional physician experiences
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
