Pay Rate: $23.42 per hour (starting rate at 70% of the full rate)
Wage Progression:
70% at hire: $23.42/hour
85% after 6 months: $28.44/hour
100% after 1 year: $33.46/hour
This position follows a union wage progression scale. Employees advance to the full rate after one year of continuous service.

SUMMARY
Special Relief employees cover long-term absences. Special Relief job involves multiple positions in the Production and Warehouse/Cooler Departments. Duties include Working Foreman, Pasteurizer, C.I.P., Filler Operator, Blow Mold, Shipper, Product Palletizer, Forklift Operator, and Warehouse Receiver. Must follow all safety and sanitary policies and procedures
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Follows all Safety Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Maintain compliance and ensure that all materials are handled under manufacturers’ recommendations, and internal food safety requirements, and under regulatory standards that are established by GMP, PMO, OSHA, and FDA.
- Accurately prepare & maintain all area paperwork, documents, and downtime records.
- Ensure all containers meet quality assurance checks.
- Maintain sanitation of equipment including hand cleaning; Responsible for general housekeeping to ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in dairy processing, food manufacturing, or a similar environment is a plus.
- Familiar with CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems and sanitation procedures
- Ability to operate and maintain production equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow good manufacturing practices.

- The work environment may require working in the cooler room with varying degrees of temperature and may include contact with water or dairy liquids.
