The Corporate Finance platform includes Turnaround & Restructuring, Transaction Advisory, Finance Excellence, Private Equity Portfolio Company Services, and Valuation & Opinions. Our teams bring deep experience across a wide range of industries, including retail, consumer products, healthcare, energy, financial services, and technology.
The Role
Associates in BRG’s Turnaround & Restructuring practice are core members of small, collaborative teams working on high-impact engagements for underperforming or distressed companies. Associates support financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, restructuring initiatives, and strategic decision-making while gaining exposure to senior executives, lenders, and investors. This role offers significant responsibility, client interaction, and professional growth in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Responsibilities
Build and analyze 3-statement financial models, 13-week cash flow forecasts, and scenario analyses
Support client deliverables including presentations, reports, and written analyses
Collaborate with BRG professionals and client stakeholders to execute engagement objectives
Assist with business development, proposals, and practice-building initiatives
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and quality
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field
2+ years of experience in consulting, corporate finance, restructuring, or professional services
Strong Excel-based financial modeling and analytical skills
Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into insights and recommendations
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Willingness to travel up to 80% as needed
Salary is $65,000-$110,000
