Position Description
The Park Lab in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School is seeking an Associate in computational biology. This position is for a recent college graduate who would like to gain research experience before going to graduate or medical school. This role involves research, development, and application of bioinformatics software to genomic datasets. In particular, this individual will analyze trinucleotide repeat expansions, which are associated with several neurological disorders. This research will result in a published manuscript.
Basic Qualifications
BS in computer science, computational biology, or related field.
Additional Qualifications
Interested in molecular biology and genetics; proficiency in python, and software development.
