Position Description
We invite applicants for a postdoctoral fellow position in the Huh lab in the Department of Immunology at Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts. The research of the Huh lab is focused on immune cell function in the context of inflammatory diseases (e.g. inflammatory bowel disease) and neurological diseases (e.g. autism and Alzheimer’s disease). We welcome applications from recent PhD graduates who are interested in this or a related field, particularly those who may bring a new technology or perspective to bear on the work in the lab.

The successful candidate will work with Dr. Jun Huh to develop an independent research project within the scope of the lab’s research. In addition to carrying out bench research, the successful candidate will be expected to apply for fellowship funding, contribute to the writing of grants and manuscripts, participate in teaching and mentoring of lab members as needed, and otherwise contribute to overall lab operations and collaborative environment.

Basic Qualifications
• PhD and/or MD in areas such as cellular biology, neurobiology, and immunology
• Experience in studying neurological disorders such as autism
