| Position Description | The Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School seeks an experienced postdoctoral fellow with a specialty in health services research to lead and collaborate on studies related to mental health and addiction services, digital health, and policy issues under the mentorship of Prof. Haiden Huskamp. This position provides opportunities to collaborate with the Department’s interdisciplinary faculty —including economists, physicians, and statisticians—on projects that bridge methods, policy, and practice. This role will involve intensive analysis of claims data and related large administrative datasets to support policy-relevant research related to mental health and addiction services utilization and quality of care. Experience working with Medicaid, Medicare and/or commercial claims data, a deep understanding of analytical methods and statistics, and advanced programming skills are therefore desired. The role will also involve preparation of graphical displays of results and manuscripts for publication. |
