We are seeking on call Archaeological Technicians to assist with field work in Michigan from May through June 2026.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with large field crew to evaluate two sites in northern Michigan.
- Conduct pedestrian surveys
- Conduct shoveling testing
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science or related field.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to communicate effectively across various departments and teams.
- Physical ability to conduct day-long inspections and sampling walking across varying terrain and under differing weather conditions.
- Dependable, fast, accurate, and extremely detail oriented.
- Must be able to successfully pass a federal agency background investigation.
- Motivated, outgoing self-starters requested.
