MI - Weld Repair Technician

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair of non-automated and robotic welders including but, not limited to Lincoln Electric and Miller Electric.
  • Perform teardown, evaluation, cleaning, troubleshooting, repairing and testing of welders.
  • Maintain evaluation notes and work with group leader to establish cost to repair based on parts required and labor requirements.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints, as well as wiring schematics.
  • Create and document test procedures
  • Maintain and ensure cleanliness of weld room and bench.
  • Willing to travel to both Miller Electric and Lincoln Electric training centers to become certified.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively within all facets of the company.
  • Work Independently and stay on task
  • Basic computer skills (email & other Office applications)
  • Willing to become hi-lo/crane certified
  • Must have good organizational skills & maintain good housekeeping.
  • Other duties as assigned.
