Position Summary:

Job Summary: The Financial Consultant role serves as a strategic finance and analytics partner across Global Product Management, Marketing and Sales. This role focuses on identifying product growth opportunities, analyzing commercial product lifecycle investments and providing data-driven insights that guide financial decision-making. The position develops forecasting methods, financial models, and executive dashboards that connect marketing spend to revenue outcomes, supports product launches and pricing strategy, and measures operational performance. This position blends quantitative rigor with strategic business context to drive growth and support informed decision-making across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Global Product Management, Global Marketing, and Sales organizations to identify product growth programs and quantify the financial benefits
  • Drive integrated Go-To-Market (GTM) investment analysis to inform strategy, financial decision making and influence business results
  • Partner with IT, data scientists and business systems analysts to create real-time analytical tools and standardized reports providing business leadership key metrics and insight into growth trends and profitability
  • Develop metrics and forecasting methods for how marketing spend translates into sales pipeline
  • Support product development, scenario planning, new product or feature launches or price changes through financial impact insight/simulation
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand go-to-market campaign objectives and design executive dashboards to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with senior management and departmental owners in the development of operational metrics/KPI’s, initiatives, ad hoc analysis, and reporting
  • Effectively present results of analyses to C-Suite Executives with recommended course of actions
  • Balance quantitative analytics with business context contributing to data driven financial storytelling
  • Support global product pricing strategies from a financial perspective, incorporating product value, competitive landscape and customer expectations into financial models
  • Maintain the financial global product hierarchy in support of both external and management reporting needs
  • Develop sound financial models and/or business cases in partnership with business managers
  • Demonstrate ethical responsibility, personal accountability, and responsibility for the integrity and reliability of data, modeling, and reporting
  • Lead and/or provide expertise to ad hoc projects and analysis as required; ROI modeling, etc.


Location: Remote or Hybrid (available for local Minneapolis candidates)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years related experience as a finance business partner; or an advanced degree with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with financial planning and reporting software for SaaS solutions (e.g., Anaplan, Power BI, Salesforce)
  • Proven success translating data into actionable insights using multiple data sources
  • Inquisitive, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a creative problem-solving approach
  • Ability to rapidly develop a strong understanding of internal data sources, including accessing, analyzing, and addressing specific questions with relevant data in an expedited manner
  • Advanced level of Excel and data analysis skills with experience building financial or statistical models from scratch
  • Ability to establish credibility with different business functions, collaborate with and influence project teams.
  • Success in managing multiple projects and changing priorities, making sound decisions and working effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Works well in independent or team environments; demonstrated team player with positive attitude


Preferred Experience

  • MBA Preferred
  • Previous experience as a finance business partner for Global Marketing/Product Development function
  • Experience presenting financial data to C-Suite Executives
  • Experience in Data Analytics and Executive Dashboard Creation



What We Offer:

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.

The annual salary range for this role is: $140,000 - $160,000 + Equity. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.

Additionally, you may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. An incentive award, if granted, is based on individual and/or organizational performance.
