Position Summary:

As a member of the Enterprise Systems team, you will be a member of a technology team that successfully delivers and supports software solutions supporting improved Customer and Employee experience in an agile DevOps environment. The Quality Engineer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing world-class testing services focused on SPS enterprise application such as Oracle Fusion, Workday, and Salesforce. This includes Test Strategy and Plans, Test Scenarios and Scripts, Test Execution, and Test Automation. This role is a combination of thought leader and test engineer – you will help develop the solutions you propose, remaining connected to the team and playing a key role in the design, development, implementation, enhancement, and adoption of impactful business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all testing and QA activities for projects and applications assigned
  • Create and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test requirements and identify potential risks
  • Develop, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases
  • Ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of defects
  • Monitor and report on test progress, coverage, and results
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
  • Participate in release planning and risk assessment meetings

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field and 4+ years of professional software testing experience, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
  • Experience with SaaS platforms like Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, and Workday
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • ISTQB, CSTE, or other relevant certifications.

Location: 

This role follows a hybrid work model at our Minneapolis office.

What We Offer:

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.

The annual salary range for this role is: $86,600 - $110,000. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
