This position is responsible for leading the Safety Steering Team to provide a safe working environment for all Employees. The position works with cross-functional teams throughout the facility driving continuous improvement of our safety culture.
Major responsibilities include:
- Maintain programs and procedures for regulatory governed programs including LOTO, SDS, Confined Spaces, and Environmental Management.
- Assist with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Management of safety training; including development of training materials, leading training sessions, and maintain training records.
- Auditing and writing procedures documenting safety best practices.
- Performing safety audits and facility walkthroughs regarding H&S.
- Manage reporting and record keeping for safety compliance and leadership engagement.
The candidate we seek should have a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering or other Environmental, Health & Safety related discipline with a minimum of 3-5 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing setting. Strong demonstrated analytical, communication and leadership skills are essential.
