How you will make an impact:
In this role, you will lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives that directly impact yield, equipment uptime, and overall manufacturing performance. You will partner closely with Operations, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, EH&S, Security, and Process Excellence teams to enhance production processes and launch new products. By applying data-driven analysis and strong engineering fundamentals, you will help reduce waste, improve quality, and drive sustainable cost improvements across the operation.
Develop processes and standardized work to improve functionality and support new product launches
Oversee project execution to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Develop operational process standards, including statistical process control opportunities
Improve product quality by reducing process variability, downtime, and increasing yields and capacity
Lead efforts to resolve quality issues, identify trends, and implement corrective actions
Document scopes of work, create action plans, and demonstrate measurable improvement results
Reduce product waste and improve utilization of capital equipment to optimize productivity and cost of quality
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, QA, maintenance, suppliers, R&D, and leadership
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
BS in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline, or commensurate experience
3-5 years of experience in Process Engineering or a similar role within manufacturing
Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistics, and applied mathematics
Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to critical, high-visibility projects
Advanced project management skills with success managing self-directed initiatives
Experience influencing, leading, and mentoring others in a cross-functional environment
Preferred:
Experience with Six-Sigma, Lean Concepts and 5S.
