Our team designs facilities for clients in the Corporate, Healthcare, Science and Technology industry. By working with our clients and listening to their needs, we gather a deep understanding of their desired outcomes, practicing creativity and innovation along the way. Qualifications



RS&H is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Architect to join our Buildings team in Charlotte, NC. 

This role offers a hybrid work schedule with a mix of inoffice collaboration and remote flexibility. As part of a fully integrated architecture, engineering, and consulting firm, you will help deliver innovative, purposedriven building solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients.

 

As part of the Buildings team, you will:

  • Lead architectural planning, design, and delivery from concept through construction
  • Shape project solutions by defining architectural and technical elements that meet client goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across architecture, engineering, and project management
  • Support proposals, estimates, and pursuit efforts that help win new work
  • Provide technical leadership through quality reviews, field observations, and mentoring junior staff
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout all phases of a project
  • Step into project or team leadership roles as needed
  •  

    To Be Successful in This Role, You Must:

  • Hold a professional degree in Architecture from an NAABaccredited program or possess equivalent experience.
  • Have 10 years of professional experience, including involvement in major or moderatescale projects, providing technical guidance to junior staff, and reviewing work for quality and accuracy.
  • Possess an active architectural license in good standing with working knowledge of applicable building codes and regulations.
  • Be proficient in architectural production software and construction document development.
  • Demonstrate strong problemsolving skills, sound professional judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, clientfocused environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, contractors, and internal team members.
