SCOPE - SUPERVISOR - CAFETERIA
The Cafeteria Supervisor will oversee all aspects of our food service operations, ensuring seamless management while being compliant with health and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - SUPERVISOR - CAFETERIA
- Communicate and coordinate weekly cycle menus by providing direction to cafeteria staff
- Responsible for supervising and coordinating staff across two cafeteria locations to ensure high-quality service and seamless operations
- Assist with heating and serving food items in accordance with ServSafe requirements
- Assist with administration of ServSafe training and other monthly trainings
- Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations
- Ensure maintenance of temp logs for equipment and food items
- Maintain purchase orders for timely submission to accounting
- Oversee inventory and procurement processes in accordance with the monthly budget
- Administer monthly food safety audits

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS - SUPERVISOR - CAFETERIA
- Ability to build strong relationships, provide excellent customer service, and problem solve
- 3 years food service management experience
- Reliability and exceptional interpersonal abilities
- Basic computer skills are required, i.e - Word, excel and online navigation of company programs
- Experience with budgeting and managing food costs
- Capability to resolve conflicts and handle stressful situations effectively
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Certified Food Manager (CFM) or ServSafe certification is highly desirable
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- This position is an onsite position
