Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We are seeking a talented individual to join our Information Technology Team as IT Support Specialist. This position is a full-time, on-site, role based in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Information Technology Support Specialist
Position Overview: Provide IT support services for our organization’s computer assets. Assists with planning, design, testing, and integrates an organization’s systems infrastructure, including the installation and setup of hardware and software.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers and staff with hardware and software challenges
- Assisting call-ins or live chat with technical difficulties
- Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
- Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
- Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
- Resolving IT support requests from employees
- Answering employee questions regarding computer systems
- Familiar with O365 administration and troubleshooting
- Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues
- Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems
- Experience with Active Directory account management
- Captures, understands, translates, and documents customer requirements
- Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed
- Updating employees on the status of their service requests
- Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed
- Help with network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs
- Travel to remote locations as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must remain in a stationary position (sit/stand) for extended periods.
- Must operate a computer for extended periods.
- Must have adequate vision for computer work and reviewing documents.
- Must be physically capable of lifting, up to 35 lbs., occasionally.
- Must be physically capable of occasional bending, squatting, or stooping.
- Must be able to hear and speak clearly for effective communication.
- Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods in a shop setting.
- Must be physically able to be around electrical and heavy equipment.
- Must wear required PPE when in applicable areas.
