POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of their supervisor, the vacuum (vac) truck driver will be responsible for operating the vac truck (commercial motor vehicle) in a safe and efficient manner on multiple job sites. A vac truck driver's job function includes performing daily pre/post-trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines.


Responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining, fueling equipment and notifying their supervisor of equipment repairs
  2. Preparing required documentation accurately and timely
  3. Reading and interpreting instruction manuals and pertinent literature
  4. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology
  5. Performing assigned tasks in a safe, timely, accurate and efficient manner abiding all safety laws, policies and rules


This is a full time position, including potential night work and travel.

Position Requirements

  1. Must be at least 18 years old
  2. Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record
  3. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
  4. Five years driving experience in construction preferred
  5. Be proficient in operating equipment and vehicle
  6. Effective written and verbal communication skills
  7. Must be willing to work in an environment with exposure to various weather conditions, both in and out of work sites
  8. Physically fit to perform the job functions
  9. Must be willing to travel if required
  10. Be safety, quality, and production oriented
