Portland State University’s Department of Communication invites applications for local Adjunct Instructors with expertise in areas of Communication and teaching experience to teach undergraduate sections of courses in Communication.
Position Summary
Instructors must be qualified to teach courses in one or more of the following areas of Communication: Media Literacy, Social/Digital Media, Public Relations, Organizational Communication, or Interpersonal Communication.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Communication (or closely related field).

Must reside in Oregon or SW Washington.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in Communication (or closely related field).
Additional qualifications may be required depending on the course.

CompensationAdjunct faculty members are paid per credit hour per the AFT Collective Bargaining Agreement which can be found at https://www.pdx.edu/academic-affairs/academic-unions#psufa
